XFreeMedia is a new standard in social media. It's an example application of technical solution in which our (soon to be published) open source protocol guarantees the users full : Freedom of speach, Control Over Data and interoperability. The protocol is desinged in a way that user has metioned freedoms guaranteed from the beggining and protected by cryptography not by policy.

Encryption enforced complete and unrestricted freedom of speech. The application is designed so neither application creator nor email provider nor anybody can block or restrict access to network and your followers and friends.
Every user is able to change the service provider or the application (as long it uses the skytale.world open source protocol) and keep all of their data, followers and connections.
The users data is processed and stored on their device and all communications in network is peer-to-peer encrypted. There is no central server gathering information about the users. The only parties able to get access to information shared on the network (Posts or Messages ) are sender and information receivers.
All of your data is processed on your device. Email servers are used as backed service of your account to send and receive messages. So the network can operate as long as there exists any email service. The service provider is not able to see the content of any messages or posts on the network. You can easily change the provider at any moment, so the service provider is not able to effectively deny you access to your account.
The format of posts you can share on the network is open and only limited by the maximum file size. The platform is not designed for sharing larger files like videos but instead you can share a link to the content hosted somewhere else, that is going to be displayed inside the app. You can share whatever you want and with whoever you want as long as the receiver wants to see your content.
We are the first platform that allows you to keep your contacts and followers if you decide to move your Account somewhere else. The protocol uses proof of knowledge to verify the post sender. So as long as you keep your accounts private key nobody is able to deny you contact with your friends and followers.
Only you decide who sees your content. All of your communication including posts and private messages is end-to-end encrypted. Nobody beside your intended receivers is able to see plain-text data.

The design of the application is unique and easy to use. More average looking clients should be published after the protocol is officailly relased.
Everyone can create independent clients to the network, so developeres have to compete and implement new features to attract users
All of your conversations on the network are end-to-end encrypted. Each conversation is encrypted with unique encryption key.
The code nessesary to create client will be published and open source. So everyone can create their own client, with cool unique features.

This section is going to show some profiles of users that chose to publish their profile in the database, We dont have any data that would allow us to veryfy how many followers smb have so the choice of profiles must be done manually or randomly.

Your emaill account is used for backend operations. Your emaill information never leaves your device. We recomend using a new email account or some secondary account as there will be many incoming encrypted messages coming to this mail box.
We are developing the platform with the mobile first strategy, so for now only the Android version of the app is available. The desktop version, browser and IOS version should become available soon after the official launch of the network.
There is an option to find your Facebook friends using the app by clicking Find Friends button on side menu. We are working on a way of publishing link to your public profile page that could be open directly in the app. We will also add the option to publish your profile page in searchable database in the future.
The app and the protocol are currently in the testing phase. I am tuning the protocol and looking for ways of its improvement. After tests the first official version of the protocol will be published on www.skytale.world and on the GitHub..
